Size: 3-4mm

Shape: Spider-like

Colour: dark brown or reddish abdomen,yellow head, antennae and legs

Antennae: Long, hairy, no club

Distinguishing features: Yellow head, thorax and legs

Larvae are scavengers

Adults eat: very little

Note: not common in the UK and very similar to Mezium americanum
